The Barcelona Past Networks Summer School invites applications for participation at a 4-day annual summer training event in Barcelona, Spain, to be held June 16-19, 2026. This opportunity is open to those who study the human past and wish to learn the theory and practice of network research. No prior computational skills are required. The program includes a mix of lectures, discussions, hands-on work, and social events.
Held at the University of Barcelona, the program costs only a 75 EUR lunch fee to attend, and participants must obtain their own accommodations and transportation in Barcelona for the duration of the program. The deadline to apply is January 26, 2026; notifications of acceptance will be sent in early February 2026. A small number of bursaries between 75-300 EUR to support participant expenses are available.
