OPPORTUNITY: ACH 2019 Bursaries

Along with the conference agenda, the organizers of ACH 2019 have published a call for applications for travel and registration bursaries. ACH 2019 will take place in Pittsburgh, PA, this summer, 23-26 July 2019.

The travel bursaries ($320) aim to help defray costs of travel for presenters at the conference, including airfare, lodging, meals, poster printing, and other such expenses. Five bursaries covering the cost of registration ($70) are also available for local students.

From the call:

Presenters of all kinds of submissions are eligible. We are particularly interested in offering support to students, early career scholars, and those in contingent positions. We will give preference to participants whose work speaks to the shared principles of the conference, as articulated in the CFP, by focusing on anti-racist, queer, postcolonial and decolonial, indigenous, black studies, cultural and critical ethnic studies, and intersectional feminist interventions in digital studies.

To apply, applicants should fill out this form by May 10, 2019. Award winners will be notified at the end of May.
