The University of Florida, the University of North Florida, Universidad San Francisco de Quito, and the University of Puerto Rico will host the 2025 Latin America & Caribbean Digital Humanities Symposium in-person at the University of Puerto Rico, Rio Piedras Campus. From the CFP:
We seek proposals for individual papers, themed sessions with multiple presentations, posters, and lightning rounds, related to our conference theme of “Digital Humanities, Memory and Community” or any other topic related to Digital Humanities and focusing on Latin America and Caribbean Studies. We welcome proposals not only from those in higher education, including students, faculty, and staff, but also from cultural institutions and other organizations doing work in the digital humanities.
Proposals of no more than 250 words may be submitted in English, Spanish, Portuguese, or French by April 12, 2025. We encourage people to submit proposals for projects at any stage of completion.

The conference will be held Wednesday, November 5, to Friday, November 7, 2025. The symposium will also offer virtual sessions on Thursday, November 13, and Friday, November 14, 2025.
