RESOURCE: Visualizing the Humanist

David McClure (freelance developer) has published a visualization of the corpus of the Humanist listserv. The network analysis uses Textplot and d3 to synthesize the 12 million words that appeared on the listserv from 1987-2014. In a corresponding post, McClure describes the project an effort to uncover “some kind of broad, diachronic shift in semantic focus over time,” and found that “the layout does seem to tease out a kind of condensed, visual intellectual history of the list.”
