California Digital Humanities Research Institute (CaliDHRI) has announced its inaugural event, to be held virtually April 17-29, 2022. Hosted by UC Irvine Libraries and UCLA Libraries, CalDHRI plans to “center Black digital humanities thematically, and rotate annually through Latinx, Asian American, and Indigenous Studies topics while focusing on California-centric research questions and datasets.”
Keynotes by Ellen Scott (UCLA), Angela LeBlanc-Ernest (Independent Scholar), and Kim Gallon (Purdue University) are free to attend and can be registered for here.
Participation in the rest of institute is by application only, which are due Friday, March 25, 2022.
