CFP: 2026 ILiADS

The Institute for Liberal Arts Digital Scholarship (ILiADS) has issued the call for project proposal applications for the 2026 Institute, held in person at Vassar College, July 26th-31st. The Institute invites proposals from digital scholarship teams, as in previous years, and new to this year, proposals from individuals as part of the “Digital Scholarship Incubator, CTRL-ALT-Retreat.” From the call:

The steering committee encourages proposals from teams and individuals in whole or in part new to digital scholarship. We employ an expansive definition of “digital project” that can include topics like infrastructure development and pedagogical practice. Projects of all types, and in any stage, are welcomed. We invite projects led by staff and early career faculty, as well as projects with substantial undergraduate leadership. We especially encourage proposals that include those who are Black, Indigenous, Latinx, and people of color, people with disabilities, neurodivergent people, and LGBTQ+ people.

Registration costs are $750 per person for faculty/staff, and $250 per person for students. ILiADS housing and food costs are $250 for the week.

Proposal guidelines share a list of headings to include and give examples of successful proposals, which will be accepted until April 3rd. Successful proposals will be notified of their acceptance by May 1st.
