CFP: 2023 CLIR Events: DLF Forum, Learn@DLF, and Digital Preservation 2023

The Council on Library and Information Resources (CLIR) has released the call for proposals for the Digital Library Federation (DLF) Forum, Learn@DLF, and the National Digital Stewardship Alliance (NDSA) Digital Preservation conference. All three allied events will be held in-person in St. Louis, MO in mid-November: the Learn@DLF pre-conference on November 12, DLF Forum November 13-15, and DigiPres23 November 15-16.

The deadline for submission for all events is May 1, by 11:59 PM Eastern Time.

• The DLF Forum and Learn@DLF CFP 
  • The Digital Library Federation’s mission is advancing research, learning, social justice, and the public good through the creative design and wise application of digital library technologies. The DLF Forum is a conference explicitly designed to enact and support the community’s values. Learn@DLF is a pre-conference workshop day designed to help folks take a deep dive into skills and topics that interest them.
• NDSA’s Digital Preservation 2023: Communities of Time and Place CFP
  • On the conference theme: “Communities are at the heart of digital stewardship work, and they underpin all of the work that is performed. Communities emerge from specific events that require urgent attention and collaboration, and communities engage in collective sense-making to develop a shared understanding of events. All of these types of communities can be dynamic, transient, and ever-shifting. All are firmly rooted to both time and place.” Proposals engaging with the conference themes of Collaboration, Sustainability, and Infrastructure related to communities and practices are encouraged by the conference organizers.
