In a post on the AHA Today blog, Annie Johnson (Temple University) discussed her trajectory from history graduate student to library publishing and scholarly communications specialist.
I got involved with the DH community in these ways not because I thought it would lead to a job, but because I believed that DH had the potential to build bridges between academia and the public, and that excited me.
Johnson recounts her journey into libraries as a conscious and exciting choice that empowers her to engage directly in public conversations about ” the role of books and libraries in a digital age.”
