CFParticipation: Digital Preservation Outreach + Education Training Needs Assessment

Barrie Howard (Library of Congress) has written a postĀ inviting participation in the 2014 Digital Preservation Outreach and Education (DPOE) Training Needs Assessment Survey.

The DPOE ProgramĀ of the Library of CongressĀ is concerned with “building a collaborative network of instructors and partners to provide training to individuals and organizations seeking to preserve their digital content.”Ā The survey aims “to scan the information sector to get a sense of the state of digital preservation practice, and identify the capacity of organizations and professionals to effectively preserve digital content.” Results will inform future developments in the curriculum and training modules of the program.
