PIDapalooza is an annual festival and collaboration between the California Digital Library, Crossref, DataCite, NISO and ORCID, to celebrate a shared love of persistent identifiers (PIDs) and the metadata that connects them. “An excuse to get together with other like-minded PID-fans across the world and party like only PID-lovers can. Usually taking place in January each year, we put on two days of very full programming – fast and furious talks from all corners of the PID infrastructure and research landscape, with lots of interaction and time to converse, a persistent playlist, and an eternal flame.”
PIDpalooza starts on 27 January 2021, and runs for 24-hours. Registration is open and free.
