The Coalition for Networked Information (CNI) is now accepting proposals for project briefings at its next membership meeting, which will take place online November 10 through December 15, 2020. According to the call,
Project briefings are typically live, 30-minute or one-hour sessions that focus on a discussion of a timely topic, or on a specific institutional/organizational project related to digital information; they can also explore parallel developments across institutions. We are also accepting proposals for shorter, pre-recorded presentations. A limited number of project briefings will be accepted.
Proposal deadlines vary depending on the week applied for – the schedule is as follows:
- Proposals for Week 1, which focuses on “Developing and Managing Networked Information Content” are due October 19.
- Proposals for Week 2, “Transforming Organizations, Professions, and Individuals” are due October 21.
- Proposals for Week 3, “Building Technology, Standards, and Infrastructure” are due October 23.
- Proposals for Week 4, “Emerging Issues and Developments Related to the Current Crisis” are due October 26.
