OPPORTUNITY: DHSI Atlantic (University College Cork)

Organized by Dr. James O’Sullivan, the University College Cork in Ireland will be hosting DHSI Atlantic, a “summer school designed to introduce and demystify key concepts from the digital humanities for students and scholars at any stage of their careers.” Much like the Digital Humanities Summer Institute at the University of Victoria, courses provide extensive learning experience in the application and instruction of DH tools and methods. Course offerings for 2020 include:

  • Stylometry with R: Computer-Assisted Analysis of Literary Texts
  • Topic Modelling in Digital Humanities
  • Introduction to GIS in the Humanities

Courses which take place over five days, 15-19 June 2020, and cost €300.
