In partnership with the Association of Research Libraries (ARL) and the Association of College & Research Libraries (ACRL), The Ohio State University Libraries will be hosting IDEAL ‘19: Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Accessibility in Libraries & Archives Conference, on its campus in Columbus, Ohio, August 6-7, 2019.

The IDEAL ‘19 program committee invites proposals on advancing inclusion, diversity, equity, and accessibility in the academic and public library, archives, and museum sectors. Formerly the National Diversity in Libraries Conference (NDLC), IDEAL ‘19 will provide an opportunity for professionals at every level and across sectors to discuss how increasing workplace diversity and creating an inclusive working environment improves organizational effectiveness, creativity, adaptability, and relevance to the communities served by that organization.
Proposals are due through the submission form by midnight (EST) on March 10, 2019. Scholarships are available by application to attendees who demonstrate financial need.
