Those attending DH2013 may be interested in checking out several events sponsored by the Association for Computers and the Humanities, including their Annual General Meeting (July 17, 12-1:30pm), Newcomers Dinner (July 17, 6pm), and Mentorship Mixer (July 18, 7pm).
Members of Alliance of Digital Humanities Organizations (ADHO) constituent organizations are invited to attend a joint ADHO-centerNet Annual General Meeting, ending with a “SIG Slam” (July 19, 12-1:30pm). As Neil Fraistat announced on Humanist, “Some potential SIGs [Special Interest Groups] already suggested include: DH and Libraries, DH and Linked Open Data, DH and Bioinformatics, DH and Postcolonialism, DH and Small Liberal Arts Colleges, DH and Social Justice, DH and Born Digital Preservation, and DH and Disability.”
